WHAT MEDICATIONS and PRODUCTS and WHY?
BOTOX/DYSPORT…. Botox and Dysport weaken muscles under the skin to relax the skin and therefore reduce fine lines, folds and wrinkles, especially under the eyes. It also dramatically reduces the appearance of pores and pore size all over the face by relaxing the muscle fibers that effect pore secretion and size, therefore, the skin looks much smoother and less oily. We can concentrate on areas that appear bumpy and not smooth because of large pores or fine lines and wrinkles. This is very popular and called: Micro-Botox or Micro-Dysport treatments.
HA (a natural hyaluronic acid fabulous hydrator)….. Immediate dramatic hydration right where you need it: the living deeper layers of your skin.
BOTOX/DYSPORT and HA…. These are most commonly used together and repeated once a month for two months then one every 3 months to maintain. It can be combined with PRP/GF or alternating with PRP/GF.
GROWTH FACTOR …..We offer a natural Human Growth Factor product that stimulates the production of new collagen, elastin, and other skin building and healing entities. It can be used instead of or with PRP, since GF stimulation is one of PRP’s actions. This is commonly used together with Dysport or Botox and HA and repeated once a month for two months then one every 3 months to maintain.
PRP (Platelet Rich Plasma)….. A small test tube of your blood is drawn and spun down in a special high speed centrifuge to separate the different components of your blood, isolating platelet rich plasma. This PRP is then micro-channeled into your skin and it releases a number of enzymes to promote healing and revitalizing tissue responses. The platelets also attract stem cells and growth factors. As a result, new collagen and elastin fibers begin to develop. As the collagen and elastin mature, they cause tightening and strengthening of the treatment area. As a result, there is a remodeling of the skin tissue to a healthier and rejuvenated state. Therefore, you see smoother more youthful skin with reduction of wrinkles, scars, laxity, stretchmarks, etc.. You will see some results in 2-3 weeks and even more at 3-6 months. We recommend 3 treatments over 3-4 months in most cases to start. Results may last 18-24 months. For best results, 2-3 treatments a year may maintain your result. Every patient is different and it all depends on your aging process. Smoking, sun, and heavy alcohol intake of course can defeat your purpose.
